History
The chantry known as Chaos Theories began all the way on the other side of the country in New York City. A mage approached then-Orphans Joshua, Renny, Bear, Georgio, Patrick, Jack and Jade to drive a very special car across the country to a chantry in California. Upon departure, the Orphans had a close encounter with the Technocracy before barely escaping the city.
Along the way, the five experienced many unusual adventures, including encountering an old-fashioned revival being run by Nephandi and saving reality as we know it from mischievous Cuckoo birds that had stolen Raven's pot. When the loosely organized cabal arrived in San Francisco, they found the house that they were supposed to deliver the car to had been cleaned out, most likely by the Technocracy. The cabal decided to make the house a permanent residence.
During the course of their stay at this house, enough paradox built up that the garden gnomes came to life. They are a permanent fixture to Chaos Theories. Two of the garden gnomes have been affectionately nicknamed 'Spartacus' and 'Tookie.' The chantry itself suffered a few losses. Patrick chose to leave on his own accord. Jack, in a fit of rage, chose to go off on his own into the night, and started a fight with Red Court vampires. Jack lost that fight, and would be turned into a Red Court vampire, to serve the will of Ramona Ellison, a recurring enemy of Chaos Theories.
About two years later, the cabal decided to relocate due to the fact that it was beginning to grow and running out of room in the old house. And so, with the help of Jamie, the cabal located a new house in San Francisco where it is currently located. Upon moving, Chaos Theories also took with them the paradox-created, animated garden gnomes.
