Description

Surprising though it may seem for someone built like a fighter to act the way he does. At six foot even and almost 180 lean pounds this 'Arab', with his long black hair and deep green eyes, is quite the imposing figure. Taken to wearing comfortably loose clothing to allow him maximum range of motion.

Background

As a child of a respectable Palestinian family from Michigan, Roshan saw little value in progressing as a business owner and took to the streets as a way of escaping the oppressive dictations of his family. As a counter to their child's 'Delinquent' nature they put him into a local Kung Fu school to have discipline put back into him. Roshan excelled in his Martial practices but continued to circumvent his families attempts to dissuade him from his less upstanding proclivities. It was not until a night, a botched robbery and a gun that his world view was shattered. He took the full blame and saved his friends from Juvenile Detention. He himself spent 6 months in Juvenile Detention, disowned by his family and, he thought, left to rot. After 6 months his Kung Fu instructor, an Akashic Sister, posted his bail and promised the courts that she would see to his rehabilitation. She took him in, provided for his basic necessities and began to instruct him in the ways of Do. She was demanding and unrelenting, and he accepted his place as student with the will of one working off a debt he could never repay. His schooling was also part of the arrangement and with his grades he received a scholarship to the University of Oregon, Portland. A suitable Master was found in Portland to continue his training and with a Bus ticket he was sent on his way.

Paradigm

Challenges abound and the body is the ultimate battle field and the mind its General. Meditation, Incense, Breathing techniques and various hand forms and body movements bring the world into mutable forms.

What happened

Never able to grasp why he was inept in the manipulation of Time, his Avatar guided him to the answer. Among his earlier lives he was the Eunuch guardian, and Sage Warrior, of an Asian princess. During his duties with her he became infatuated with the young girl. And as a result was not prepared when an assassin stuck and took her life. In his grief he commit an irredeemable sin and fought against the flow of time to save her life. He was successful and for his crime was destroyed. In the following life he returned to a China in Chaos as the child the princess eventually bore was corrupt and cruel. He was charged with the new Emperor's death, with himself at the age of twelve. Again he was successful, and again he was caught. The new lord Magistrate discovered the boys past and decreed that he would undergo Gilgul as final penance for his crime. In the middle of the Rite the Magistrate and all his house were killed by the Ali-Batin. Unwilling to let the boy die in such a way, instead, for his crime he would never again be permitted the powers of Time until he could show that he had at last paid for his crime.

How it Ended

After, again, being reminded of what he had done in his past life by his now powerful avatar Roshan was granted his Soul Weapon. In the hopes that 'This Time' he might do enough to earn his Avatar wholeness once more. But in the end he was betrayed by his self and succumb to the powers of a dark entity. Though he survived, his Soul Weapon was lost along with one of his friends. Unable to console himself he descended into a deep trance from which he never permitted himself to recover. Though the fae make sure he remains 'alive' he is forever seated in the garden courtyard of a Summer estate.
