Paradigm
McAllister uses runes and bodily fluids to focus and power his magicks. Additionally, he uses meditations, chanting and fire to help support his arts.
Specific to each of his spheres, McAllister uses the following foci or foci combinations:

- Entropy: Odin-rune draw. Specific Rune: blank
- Forces: Runes in specific order and/or flame for larger effects (fire being the uncorruptable element so perfect for feeding effects). Specific runes: Flow, Breakthrough, Signals, Opening, Warrior, Standstill
- Life: Runes, blood/sweat/tears/saliva. Specific runes: Warrior, Growth, Rebirth, Strength, The Self, Wholeness
- Mind: Meditation and/or runes. Specific runes: Protection, Signals, Joy
- Matter: Runes of transformation and insight. Specific runes: Breakthrough, Gateway, Possessions, Intiation, Harvest
- Prime: Fire (power) and runes. Specific runes: Flow, Gateway, Fertility, Opening
- Spirit: Rune layouts and chanting. Specific runes: Gateway, Partnership, Opening, Movement
- Time: Runes in a 3 or 5 rune layout. Specific runes drawn help detail what future he sees.
