St. Michael's Cathedral in Chicago.
Description
Hope and Faith began solely as a Celestial Chorus chantry, under the leadership of Father Forthill. As the Other Side of Hades grew and developed into War and Wisdom, St. Michael's Cathedral began having more interactions with the Hades Knights. At one point, following the rise of the Pyramid in Chicago and the rise of the Night Watch political party under the leadership of Mayor Wright, St. Michael's Cathedral held its own seat on the Supernatural Being council that Jeremy Wright created.
Due to the growing threats of the Black Church and the Technocracy, St. Michael's Cathedral renamed itself Hope and Faith, and became a branch of War and Wisdom, to work more effectively with the Hades Knights, the Verbena Chantry, and the Akashic chantry in defending Chicago from enemies of Ascension.
Hope and Faith is the chantry for Michael Carpenter, the Knight of the Cross who wields Amoracchius. Hope and Faith has also become the repository of Fidelacchius, the second of the three holy swords of the Knights of the Cross, as it waits for a new Knight to be chosen.
