Description

Savannah 'Vannah' Mackenzie is 5'9" and about 120 lbs, she has a dancer's build and tends to move like one when she isn't playing up her sex kitten image. Her platinum blond hair falls to about mid-shoulder and her eyes are a very dark blue-gray surrounded by dark make-up. Her skin tone is a very milky pale white. She tends to dress in 1950's vintage or rockabilly clothing.

Background

When Savannah was 2 years old, she was abandoned by her mother and left in a car seat behind the Las Vegas dance hall her grandmother worked at. She was raised by her grandmother, the other dancers, and the stage crew. She was enrolled in a ballet class when her grandmother realized Vannah love to dance and was exceptionally good at it from the start. When she was 13, she and her grandmother relocated to Atlanta, GA. There, her grandmother opened a vintage clothing store called the Hope Chest. She awoke during her time there and met up with Cherry and Kid Africa. The two mages were in Atlanta as part of the BAMA cabal. They served as her mentors and brought her into the VA tradition.

Three years after moving to Georgia, Vannah was accepted to Juilliard for her talent in ballet. She also pursued concurrent education in Business and Accounting at MIT and also earned her master's in computer science at the age of 22. Shortly after receiving her degrees, she was informed that her grandmother was very ill with cancer and was close to death. Vannah immediately left for Atlanta to take care of her grandmother, who vehemently refused Vannah's life magic. After her grandmother passed away, Vannah found a trustworthy owner for the Hope Chest, as she did not want her grandmother's dream to die. Having secured her grandmother's dream, she decided to pursue one of her own while she was in the South. She had always wanted to see the French Quarter of New Orleans, so she told Cherry and Kid Africa she would be taking a small vacation. They advised her to look up the House of the Rising Sun chantry while she was there. Upon her arrival in New Orleans, she found the chantry and ended up staying there.
