*February 26, 2056—A representative from the Tarislar district requests the runners’ help to investigate the disappearances of people from the shanty town over the past six months (close to one hundred).  Recently, the people pooled their resources together for a neighborhood watch, complete with a few shot guns and several pistols.  Unfortunately, their untrained neighborhood watch encountered the professionals behind the disappearances two days ago, and were either killed or kidnapped themselves.  Since that time, twelve more elves, including five children, have disappeared.  This is not counting all the other SINless individuals throughout Seattle who have also disappeared (whether or not they were tied to the Bug spirits is debatable). Wants the runners to help him protect his community.  He wants them to find the bastards who are kidnapping these squatters, and not only stop them, but find out who they are working for, and hopefully, find a way to stop them.  To help the team, the Johnson has obtained the brick that one of their members from their neighborhood watch had hit one of the attackers with, which contains a sample of their blood.  In addition, an eye witness mentioned that some Humanis material fell out of their van during the attack.  It made reference to chapter house 13, in Renton.  If the runners check the blood/DNA sample, they will find it is linked to a criminal SIN, and the criminal record indicates that he is an active Humanis/ suspected Alamos 20K member, and had been imprisoned on charges that he was aiding the terrorist group (but somehow, managed to get an early parole, thanks to the intervention of Renton Mayor  Sam Usinski).  He is also a former Lone Star cop, who was fired after the Night of Rage for his indifference to the deaths of the metahumans. When the team investigates and puts pressure on the individual, he will tell them exactly where they have been delivering them to a previously abandoned Sanitarium in Hell’s Kitchen.  If the team explores the Sanitarium, they will discover an Alamos 20K genetics project, being supervised by one of the central executives of the terrorist group (the Nazi).  He is trying to reverse the effects of ‘goblinization,’ and eliminate all the ‘genetic abnormalities,’ ie, the metahumans. The runners will successfully take out the project.

March 30, 2056--Ares Johnson hires team to test new nanoweapon (manatech) to help fight the bugs.  Once entered into the host, they release a chemical compound to attack specific, altered genes of the merged hybrid spirits, destroying the genetic material and resulting in the death of the host/spirit.  Nanites are in capsule rounds.  Nanites have been treated in a dual natured chemical, and are able to bypass the spirit’s immunity to normal weapons.  Takes place in a testing facility for Ares, in a controlled environment.  Each room has any where between 4 and 8 spirits, with their force and their species being completely random.

April 2, 2056--A Russian Arms Dealer contacts the runners, asking them to help him smuggle a large shipment of weapons from Seattle down to Aztlan, for the resistance groups.  If the runners say ‘yes,’ the truck itself will be heading from Seattle to Diego. Along the route, it will need to stop to be repainted several times; and issued new registration tags and AR markings.  In order to travel through the SSC, the vehicle is initially disguised as a Wuxing truck. In the SSC, to make it through Tir Tairngire and the disputed territory with the Cal Free State, the truck will need to stop, and be painted as Telestrian Industries.  The truck will be stopped at the Tir border, where the human characters (including the two drivers) will be questioned (and possibly detained).  Through the Tir, the truck will be targeted by the Resistance. The truck then will have to stop in the northern sections of the Cal Free State to be painted as a ‘Shiawaise’ truck. They will be stopped before going into he disputed territory, to allow for the fighting to calm down in that part of Northern California. Should take 10 hours. Once past the disputed territory, they can drive all the way through the Cal Free State until they reach the border of Aztlan, where the truck will have to be painted again to be an Aztechnology truck, in order to cross the border.  The truck they are escorting does not have a Chamelon Coating. There will be attempts to hijack the truck three times on route by go-gangers. In SSC, by an all ork gang; in Tir, after getting past the border, will be attacked by the resistance (Rebels of the Spire), for working for a company that backs the Surehand regime. In the disputed territory; the road will be closed due to mounting violence in the area.  Will be reopened 8 hours later. Finally, the runners will be attacked by an all Japanese gang calling themselves the ‘Blue Demons.’  When the runners arrive at the Aztlan border crossing, the Azzies have learned of a plan to deliver weapons to the resistance, and raid the safehouse where the delivery was to be made.  The runners learn this after they manage to cross the border, and have to wait for the resistance to contact them again with details about a new location for the delivery.  The runners manage to successfully deliver the weapons, and make it back to Seattle.

  • January 5, 2056--The runners were hired by Universal Omnitech to track down a bunch of Neo-Anarchists responsible for the raiding and the destruction of their warehouse, which resulted in the loss of a lot of genetech equipment and supplies. These neo-anarchists were also responsible for a matrix attack on Yamatetsu a while back. Universal Omntech wanted the equipment recovered, and those responsible, taken care of. The runners conducted their investigation of the attack,and learned the neo-anarchists had sold their goods to a mafia family, the Marcone family. Unable to recover the materials from the Consiglieri, the runners arranged to have the neo-anarchists taken out.

  • February 12, 2056--Saeder Krupp Johnson hires the new team to retrieve a package being sent to the Zurich Orbital. Package has been marked as property of Renraku, and has been marked as ‘confidential.’ However, the package does not belong to Renraku; someone has forged the information to get the package on the shuttle. Wants the runners to retrieve the the package before it goes up on the shuttle. Shuttle is in the process of being loaded, and will lift off in 18 hours. The runners will get to the package, only to be attacked by nine ant soldiers and an ant shaman.
