Description
Sara Fredrickson is a typical, friendly IT girl who works at Oxford University coordinating its network operations. After work hours, she logs on with her more well-known name, Sik282, and uses her specialty in data shredding to take down companies and individuals she feels behave unethically and immorally.
Background
Sara awoke while trying to fix a friend's computer that had gone on the fritz. Her avatar appeared in the form of a Windows-hating Windows dialog box and told her she knew full well how to fix the computer. When a simple Unix command prompt appeared, she typed in "Fix Computer." The monitor lit back up and her friend's computer still works perfectly to this day. She started taking computer classes in high school and went to a community college in Boston to get her technician's certifications. She met her mentor, Steven Barnes, in her Large Business Networking class. He informed her she was a mage and began to teach her Mage Computing 547 during his office hours. As she met more Virtual Adepts, she realized Steven was a little further off base than the rest. She started to think he was a bit insane, and the final straw was when he showed her his masterpiece, 4chan's /b/ channel. After that, she distanced herself for him and continued on with her career. She started working at the same community college until larger colleges began offering her jobs. She took a job at NYU until Oxford offered her more money. She works there currently.
She knows the proper terms for very few technological parts and devices, as different people refer to some things by different names. She prefers to simply describe what they are, such as calling a thumb/flash drive a "small plug-in memory keychain".
Paradigm
Her driving goal in life and Ascension is Occam's Razor, which she pursues to a fanatical extent.
